Enable auto updates of the agent

The auto update feature for the agent is currently not enabled anymore due to technical issues. The agent is updated anyway with every system update.
  1.  > Configuration > Templates
  2. Choose "Service-Problem Notification via Email" or " Host-Problem Notification via Email" and click the test button Image Added. An e-mail will be sent immediately to the configured Administrator contact (See Setup > Contacts > Administrator)
  3. Check the log file for debug information,  Administration Web Interface > Logs > QMail MTA [qmail.log]

Recommended to use protocol 2.0 as it offers encryption

Agent PasswordPassword, this password is required for communication with SONARMANAGER and for the communication in Distributed Monitoring setups
Debug Level

of mail server, default is 25

SenderSender address for outgoing mail notifications, e.g. admin@mycompany.com
Authentication User

Username for authentication on SMTP mail server

Authentication PasswordCorresponding password
