For a host group you do not need to assign basic services separately to each host but link them to a host group. All services assigned to the host group are automatically configured for the included hosts as well. There is already a predefined hostgroup named "everyhost (All defined hosts)". 

For creating a new host group or editing existing host group, proceed as follows:

Name

Name of the host group.

Info

Do not use special characters or spaces. The name must be unambiguous, shall not be assigned twice and is case sensitive.

Alias

Alias name of the host group. The alias name is used in the web interface of the SONARPLEX appliance.

The alias name must be unambiguous, shall not be assigned twice and is case sensitive. If possible, use the same designation as in the "Name" input box.

Membership

Double-click a host in the "Non-members" selection window to add that host to the host group or click on it and use the following button .You can also click on  to add all non members to the host group.

Double-click a host in the "Members" selection window to remove that host from the host group or click on it and use the following button.You can also click on Image Modified to remove all hosts from the host group.
